Bridge of Hope

Bridge of Hope in City Heights is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families through transition. Transition can mean many things including families leaving homeless and domestic violence shelters or recovery homes, families facing crisis, and refugees relocating from around the world.

San Diego Refugee Tutoring

SD Refugee Tutoring provides holistic academic support through one-on-one tutoring, enrichment activities, and mentorship to students of refugee background in the community of City Heights in Central San Diego.

Please note that backpacks and funds given specifically for the purchase of backpacks for this drive are considered "designated gifts" for a particular charitable project and, therefore, are not tax-deductible through Flood Church as charitable contributions. In accordance with IRS regulations governing charitable organizations, Flood Church is unable to provide tax receipts for these designated donations.

If you would prefer to make a tax-deductible charitable contribution, we encourage you to give directly to Bridge of Hope or San Diego Refugee Tutoring, who may be able to provide a charitable receipt in accordance with their tax-exempt policies and procedures.

Saturday, August 8th, 9-11am, Bridge of Hope in City Heights

Join us in serving at the Bridge of Hope Backpack Distribution Event, which Flood has contributed backpacks to through our annual Backpack Drive! 

This Backpack Event is an annual event that Flood coordinates and leads for Bridge of Hope. If you'd like to volunteer at this event, please RSVP to our Refugee Team Leader, Rachel, at Refugee@FloodChurch.org. 

For those participating, let's come with a flexible attitude and heart to serve!
