Vision, Mission + Values

Our Vision at Flood Kids is to be a movement of hope and healing where kids can experience God, learn to love Jesus and embrace His truths. Our Values include safety, relationships, age appropriate bible teaching, creativity, and fun!

Our Mission is to disciple children to follow Jesus and live a life of faith, community and action. Faith: looking to God to see what He has to say. Community: living out God’s story with faith-filled friends. Action: taking God’s story to people who are outside of His family.

What to Expect

Our teachers and facilitators

Every environment has team of amazing volunteers who make sure the classroom is always running smoothly. They love your children fiercely and are anxious to show them the love of Jesus.

Volunteering

One way that you can partner with us is to volunteer in one of our early childhood environments. We are always in need of new Team members to come and love on our kids! Please fill out a leadership application at the bottom of this page and we will contact you for next steps

Classrooms

We want to make sure your child is in the best class for his or her development. There is never any rush or pressure to transition your child to the next class. We base it on your discretion much more than birthdays.

Nursery

For ages birth through 12 months. Once your child is mobile, they are eligible to move up to the ones & twos classroom

Ones + Twos

This class includes kiddos who are walking steadily & confidently, are not intimidated by play with other children, and do not need naps or bottles during the gathering.

Preschool

Kids in this class are at least 3 years old and are ready for more structured learning. They can sit and listen for 5-10 minutes at a time, are fully potty trained, and can manage getting through class without a snack
