Flood Kids desires to partner with parents in guiding their kids toward life change and a heart for God. We want to resource you with enriching and entertaining learning opportunities during this time, as well as keep you updated with ways to provide for the needs of your kids.

Disability Inclusion

At Flood Kids our goal is to create environments where every child feels included. Our classrooms are equipped with a variety of supports including alternative seating, fidgets, and differentiated instruction, while practicing clear expectations and consistent routines.

Some additional accommodations we can offer are: one on one buddies, alternative schedules and customized behavioral plans. If your child would benefit from this, please contact us using the link below before your first visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a child is displaying any one or a combination of the following symptoms, they will not be allowed to check in to Flood Kids. A child exhibiting one or more of these symptoms should not be in the classroom:

  • Green/colored mucus
  • Productive cough
  • Throwing up
  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Chills
  • Sweating without having been active
  • Lethargic or seems “out of it”
  • Complains of not feeling well or a tummy ache

Child Dedication is a covenant promise between a parent, their child and God. It is a moment of committing and commissioning; parents commit to partnering with God as they raise their children and the church commissions parents to do this alongside extended family. Make this covenant promise to encourage and guide your child to become the individual God intends him/her to be.

Child dedications are offered twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. The child dedication workshop is prerequisite for dedications.

Once the gathering ends, parents/guardians can head directly to the child’s classroom. Parents/guardians will be asked to present the unique check-in/check-out code received during check-in to receive your child(ren). As your child(ren)’s safety is our top priority, your child(ren) will not be released unless this code is presented.

What are your safety & security procedures?

1. We have a very thorough screening process for all Team Members, including a comprehensive application process, background and reference check, and extensive year-round training.
2. Intentional Adult-to-Child ratios. We make sure that no child will ever be alone with an adult.
3. Safe and secure check-in and check-out procedures to ensure your child is released to the proper parent/guardian.
4. Strict restroom policies ensuring your child is never alone in a restroom with an adult.
5. Thorough emergency evacuation procedures.
6. Broad wellness policies to ensure the health of every child in our care.

In case of emergency, how do you reach parents/guardians during a gathering?

If we need to reach you while you are in the main gathering, we will first try to contact you via phone/text and also place the unique claim check-in/check-out code (given to you during check-in) on the screens in the main gathering.
